Then we design the piece around it, set and finish by hand in London, and hallmark it at Goldsmiths’ Hall.

Jasmine & Tom
Co-founders, and a husband-and-wife jeweller based in London. Tom travels to the gem markets of Mumbai, Bangkok and Hong Kong, working direct with cutters and dealers. Jasmine runs the London studio and meets every client.
Together we design one ring at a time, around a stone you’ve chosen yourself.

Our bespoke design process
Step 1
Talk it through
Sit down with Jasmine, in our London studio or on a video call. Tell us about the person, the budget, the shape you have in mind. We come back with two or three sketched directions.
Step 2
We find the stone
Diamonds direct from cutters in Mumbai; sapphires and rubies in Bangkok; the rare ones at the Hong Kong fairs. You see each candidate on video, in daylight, and pick the stone your ring is built around.
Step 3
You see it in 3D
Before a gram of gold is cut, we send a CAD render and, if you want, a wax mock-up to try on the hand. Up to three rounds of changes are included.
Step 4
Made in London. Struck at the Hall.
Set and finished by hand in our London workshop, then hallmarked at Goldsmiths’ Hall — maker’s mark, fineness, and date letter, on every ring.
Our story
How we built Jasmine Gems.
A husband-and-wife jeweller, based in London.
He travels — Mumbai for diamonds, Bangkok for sapphires and rubies, Hong Kong for the rare ones. She runs the studio: walking each client through their design, from the first sketch to the finished ring. The brand is named after her. The other half does the flying.
We started this because the path from a stone to a finished ring has too many middlemen on it. The person buying a ring should know exactly where the stone came from, who chose it, and who made it. So we cut that path short: we go to the source, we set and finish by hand in London, and every piece over the precious-metal threshold is struck at Goldsmiths’ Hall — your maker’s mark and date letter, on every ring.
